Episode 102 | The Positive Experience of Biblical Discipline

Does the term “biblical discipline” stir up negative feelings for you? Do you dread having to biblically discipline your children because you view it as a terrible experience for everyone involved? Join Katy and me as we look at how we can view the act of disciplining our children in a positive light when it’s administered in accordance with Scripture.

We have a brand new episode of the
Parenting with Ginger Hubbard podcast available today. Here’s a little more about what you can expect:

Episode 102 | The Positive Experience of Biblical Discipline: Disciplining our children is unpleasant, but it shouldn’t be viewed as a negative experience because it takes our children to a positive place where the righteousness and peace of Christ abound. Our desire is for our children to “put off” their old selves, and “put on” their new selves because it pleases God. As parents, we have to help our children understand that their outward display of disobedience results from their inward problem with sin, and then we must point them to the rescuing help of Jesus for redemption and change for the purpose of honoring and pleasing Him.
