How to Reach the Heart of Your Child (Part 2)

Do you find yourself frustrated with training your kids in the same areas over and over without any real change taking place? Are you discouraged because it seems that no matter what you do, you just can’t reach the heart of your child? Join Katy and me for part 2 as we discuss how to reach past our kids’ outward behavior, pull out and address the issues of the heart, and point our children to their only source of help and hope—Jesus Christ.

We have a brand new episode of the Parenting with Ginger Hubbard podcast available today. Here’s a little more about what you can expect:

Episode 005 - How to Reach the Heart of Your Child (Part 2): It can be a real temptation to find our identity as parents through the performance of our kids, but in doing that, we’re not only putting an unfair burden on them, we’re also finding our identity in someone other than Christ. We all need Jesus, and that’s the most important thing we want our children to understand. That’s why we want to look past their outward behavior and help them evaluate their own hearts. When we take time to reach the hearts of our kids and feed them the Word of God, we’re making a valuable investment in their lives.

Would you help us get the word out?  We would be so appreciative if you’d subscribe to our podcast wherever you listen, and leave us a rating or review as that will enable us to encourage lots more parents to reach the hearts of their children. You can also help spread the word by forwarding this email and/or share our posts about the podcast on social media.  I would love to connect with you on Instagram and Facebook, and you can connect with Katy on Instagram as well.  Have a great week!

Warmly,
Ginger
