Episode 242 | How to Talk So Kids Will Listen

Do you ever get the feeling that your child isn’t paying attention to anything you say? Do you ever pour your heart out for a solid 15 minutes only to hear, “huh?” Join Katy and me as we discuss what the Bible says about effective communication and what we can do to ensure that we’re talking in a way that encourages our children to listen.

We have a brand new episode of the Parenting with Ginger Hubbard podcast available today. Here’s a little more about what you can expect:

Episode 242 | How to Talk So Kids Will Listen: If we want the truth of God’s Word to penetrate the hearts of our children, then we have to speak God’s Word to them. It is God’s Word and God’s Spirit that work to change the hearts of our children; we’re just the vehicles delivering His Truth. Listening to our children and being wise about how we communicate are ways we prepare and soften their hearts, which makes for better seed planting. So let’s take the time to do it right, plant the seeds of righteousness, and pray that God will grow those seeds as only He can do.
