Episode 026 | When Young Children Disobey
Do you have a toddler who’s starting to disobey and test the limits, and you’re not sure what to do about it? Do you want to know how to reach the heart of a child who isn’t old enough to communicate yet? Join Katy and me for another new episode in our month-long Q & A Day series as we take a look at what to do when young children disobey and the importance of being consistent with consequences.
We have a brand new episode of the Parenting with Ginger Hubbard podcast available today. Here’s a little more about what you can expect:
Episode 026 | When Young Children Disobey: When children learn to obey and have self-control they’re happier kids. God promises blessings to children who obey and honor their parents. Young children don’t necessarily have to understand the why of obedience before we begin to train them in righteousness. It’s also vital for mom and dad to be consistent with consequences when children disobey. We need to say what we mean and mean what we say so we don’t cause our children to question our word and not take it seriously. When everyone’s position in the family is clear and everyone is submitting to the roles God intended, there’s unity and peace.
