Episode 199 | No More Perfect Moms with Jill Savage
Ever found yourself in the middle of the grocery store wondering why your child is the one yelling for snacks while other kids are quiet and content? Does it feel like you’re the only one dragging your kids–kicking and screaming–in the door on Sunday mornings while other moms stroll into church with everyone bright-eyed and bushy-tailed? Join Katy and me, along with special guest Jill Savage, as we discuss how we can stop the perfection infection from invading our relationships and our walk with the Lord.
We have a brand new episode of the Parenting with Ginger Hubbard podcast available today. Here’s a little more about what you can expect:
Episode 199 | No More Perfect Moms with Jill Savage: When we measure our worth and identity by comparing ourselves to other moms, we miss out on the peace and rest of who we truly are in Christ. We cannot let the perfection infection invade our lives becuase we end up either judging ourselves harshly or judging others harshly, and it robs us of contentment. Our worth is not based on how we look or our performance as moms. Our identity is found in Christ and is based solely on Jesus and the atoning work He has done on our behalf.
